Here are some basic rules you should know about Badminton so that you’ll enjoy your game more:
The object of badminton is very simple, to hit the shuttlecock over the net land in the designated court areas. You and your opponent have to manager the rally in Badminton which helps you win 21 points.
- A Badminton game takes place with either two (singles) or four (doubles) players.
An official match has to be played indoors on the proper Badminton court dimensions. The dimensions are 6.1m by 13.4m.
- When the shuttlecock hits the net then your opponent wins the point.
- Watch out, if a player touches the net with racket or any part of their body, the opponent receives the point.
- Badminton game has two rest periods: 90 – second rest after the first game and 5-minute rest after the second game.
